Get Ready for Otakon 2008!

A note from the Con-Chair:

Greetings everyone!

I hope you are as excited as I am about Otakon XV! There has been some craziness that we have had to work through, and I'm glad to say everything is still right on track!

Let me tell you, this will not be a year to miss Otakon. I know that every convention says "don't miss this year" but once we get everything announced, you'll see why this time, we definitely mean it. I fully expect this to be the biggest, most exciting convention we've ever had in Baltimore.

In the coming weeks we will finalize our guest list, and as soon we do, look for an announcement here, and on the Otakon BBS. It's so hard not to just let the cat out of the bag now!

I would like to thank you, the members, for letting us put this show on. Without your support and attendance the BCC would be an awfully empty space, and the chance to serve the fandom we have grown to love would just not be the same.

Lastly I'd like to think our staff for continually proving that I work with the best group I could ever possibly ask for. As we look back over the years that led to XV, the work and growth that we've done as a volunteer organization to get here is amazing! Thank you for proving that 'For Fans, By Fans" is the best way to be.
